Let’s All Conserve!
February 5, 2019
Hello, my name is Jeremy and today I am going to tell you how to save energy, water, and fuels because I was inspired by my Science teacher Mrs. Brown to think about conservation!
1. Turn off the lights when you are not using them because that will save electricity and money since we have to pay for the electricity in our homes. If it is day time, consider using the natural light of the sun if you have windows in the room you are in.
2. Turn off the water when you are brushing your teeth. There is no need to let that water run! Washing dishes? Fill up the sink with water instead of leaving the water running the whole time.
3. Try not to take a long shower because that will waste more water. Scrub, scrub and out!
4. Do not use too many fossil fuels. Set your gas heater a few degrees cooler than what you normally would. Carpool if you can. Maybe even consider solar panels for your home because the sun’s energy is renewable and free! Even though fossil fuels are renewable, people use way more than can be renewed in a lifetime.
Do you have more ways we can all help conserve energy? If so, leave me a comment with your ideas!
Good job Jeremy! The only other thing that I can think of (because you covered so much)is to always make sure you turn of the computer when nobody is using it or unnecessary money will be used.Like Jeremy said make sure to consurve!I think you are great at writing articles buddy
I did not know that all of this would help conserve resources that we use all the time and I think you did a great job with everything you did on this.
Good job Jeramy (did i spell your name right?)! Keep on working! Everybody can make a difference!
Neat.
